PlanTech, Inc, the North American sales partner for Plato-AG, announces the release of SCIO™ 3.0.
SCIO™ is a software suite for quality-based knowledge management. The SCIO™ applications, which can be used individually or in combination, provide quality support during the entire engineering cycle. In addition to managing data and improving engineering, SCIO™ generates APQP documentation that meets industry and customer requirements.

SCIO customers come from all industries around the world including automotive, medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and consumer packaged goods.

The major new features included in Release 3.0 are:

Improved Process Flow Charter

The Process Flow Charter has been completely revised and offers a simple method for creating process flows. The process flow is shown graphically and the data and any additional information are listed in a table. The graphic and table are linked allowing the user to switch between a table or the graphic as needed.

Process flows can be displayed, printed, and edited in a foreign language.

Graphic Analyses for FMEAs

Evaluating risk using a risk matrix has been added. New, additional forms display the new evaluations. The risk matrix, upon which risk evaluations are based, is configured with the evaluation catalog.

Import

An improved importer is configurable, suppresses unwanted master data and permits selective import of actions and evaluations.

Direct Display of Risk Analyses

The graphic analyses, Pareto, RPN, and Risk Matrix, are displayed in a graphics window without requiring data transfer to Excel.
The data can then be transferred to Excel.

Criticality Ratio

In addition to the traditional method of displaying RPN (S x O x D), SCIO™ has the capability to display the Criticality Ratio (S X O)

SCIO™ Release 3.0 is complies fully with the 4^th Edition of the AIAG Reference Manual
