PROTIS™ details
The industrial Improvement Management System PROTIS™ is a workflow-controlled system for utilization of know-how with the aim of considerably costs caused by errors and of improving products and processes in a customer orientated way. PROTIS™ offers support during fault collection, analysis (cause research) and measure determination / -success control.
Information on occuring faults, implemented measures etc. are stored in the central "knowledge storage" and remain available there for analyses ("Learning from faults").
Processes are controlled via a workflow-component, this means shorter operational and reaction times. Examples of possible areas of application are: complaints management, complaints procedures, company suggestion procedures, continuous improvement of the production processes.
Collection
- fault catalog designer
- fault collection file
- flexible fault collection
- visual fault collection
Analysis
- know-how
- extensive analysis- and reporting possibilities
- freely definable views (reports)
- charts with freely definable parameters (2d- and 3d)
- fault clouds
- freely definable agents inform the responsible persons actively of the system status or generate regular reports
- linking of 3rd party reporting tools is possible (ODBC)
Improve
- active system
- Freely definable quality sensors inform the responsible persons actively of measure efficiency and critical conditions.
- support during measure identification and -follow up
- If measures are known in the knowledge base for a certain fault, these are suggested sorted according to success probability. The system informs actively of overdue dates and foreseeable failure of a measure.
Configuration
- freely definable workflows transfer the fault collection file to the appropriate parties (e.g. for cause analysis or measure evaluation)
- integration in company EDP
- a mapping-designer allows integration in external ODBC-compatible databases
- integration in existing systems: step by step introduction of PROTIS™ is possible
- linkage with FMEA System III
- few requirements for client hardware
PROTIS™ is web-based and can (with the exception of administrative tasks) be operated with a web-browser via the Intra-/Internet.
