SCIO™-Matrix allows engineers to work with product variations quickly and easily, since matrix structures and FMEA content are fully transferred once they’ve been entered. Components and assemblies that are to be changed are inserted as copies while components and assemblies that will remain the same are inserted as cross-references. Fig.: System analysis supplies specifications for the specifications document. SCIO™-Matrix - Main Features and Functions System analyses for the engineering process SCIO™-Matrix is considered the fastest way to analyze a system. The easy-to-understand procedure is based on the way engineers think and work. A special methodology provides means to control consistency and points out weak spots in the design as well as overfulfillment of the requirements. The prioritization of important system elements and functions supplies the critical path for the required risk analyses. The results of the system analysis automatically forms the framework for an FMEA. Variant management Variants are generated for a system or for individual components of a system/product. SCIO™-Matrix reduces the amount of data needed to manage variants to just the „differences“ in data between variants – data that is the same is stored only once in the database Requirements management The structured acquisition of products and process requirements permits the specification document and the requirements document to be compared. Critical features are documented and passed on to subsystems. Specification documents for a part, product, or system can be displayed and printed out. Consistent data The system analysis creates functional and structural connections between the product and process so that it is clear which process step is responsible for fulfilling the customer requirements. Critical process and product features are consistently identified and updated. If you would like further information, please contact us. Inquiry. BackHome
